From Corby to London…

From Corby to London, Kyle Hall is a mixed-media artist working across painting, collage, found materials and mixed media. His colorful, vibrant compositions explore direction, order and chaos, questioning ideas of perfection, value and control. His practice embraces the tension between the ego's desire for perfection and the humility of letting go. Allowing things to be enough, even when discomfort urges them to change.

The Freedom of Mark Making…

Inspired by the freedom of mark-making, using art as a process and to express experiences that have long been buried. Beginning each work without a predetermined outcome, he embraces the freedom to layer colour, shape and texture before the moment of clarity and knowing through contrast, tension and balance unfolds. The process then becomes a contradictory battle between spontaneity and intention, challenging himself to become a channel for whatever needs to arise allowing his soul rest and arriving “home”.

His work spans abstract, conceptual and contemporary art, transforming darkness into light. Revealing beauty in everyday domestic objects, the rawness of industry, construction, wear and tear, and the silent stories carried by walls and forgotten materials. Rooted in working-class culture and the influences that shape, break, challenge, humor and inspire us. His practice explores how we communicate the untranslatable and find meaning beyond words.

Spiritual Pharmacy…

Alongside his artistic practice, Kyle curates creative community events know as (Spiritual Pharmacy) that encourage others to explore, express and reconnect with creativity. He believes creativity and expression has the power to heal, build belonging and transform both individuals and communities.
